Welcoming Craig on his first GoodGym run

After explaining everyone why it was a French leading the run and welcoming Craig on his first GoodGym run, we did a short warm-up cheered by some South African fan just out from the stadium! (they might have had with 1 beer too much, but they trash the USA who didn't score a single point, which is always nice but this is not the point of this run report, even if I could remember to English that their team are already out while French are still in!)

We had to improvise a DIY task

Due a last minute task cancellation, we had to improvise a DIY task, so with few bin bags and plastic gloves we split in 2 teams of 3 and went around the stadium (Place of 2012 Olympics Games, and Mo Farah playground, but did I already say that England was already out of his own World Cup?! oh yeah I did sorry) and start to pick everything who was suppose to go in a bin instead of the floor. The first team was composed of Grace, Carol and Ben, while the second team was made of Vanessa, Craig and myself! The cleaning around the Stadium while Rugby fan are leaving it and drinking beer at the same time was done and it was now time to do some running!

It was a hard but good session

We went down next to the canal were none of US or South African were, to do an interval session! The goal was to run at a fast pace for 30 secs and then turn back and try to got back to the start point in 30 secs follow by one minutes rest, and this 5 times! We also try to focus on our arms mouvement and try to stay tall! It was a hard but good session and everyone was knacked at the end of it which was a good point!

We then head back to Olympic Swimming Pool for some strecth and this was it for the night! Well done and see you next weeks!

ps: Quality of the photos are really poor (note to myself book a photograph course)
