Three runners roared into action Sunday lunchtime, clearing the paved outside space of the Cossall Estate TRA centre. We weeded out a jungle of unwanted plants between the paving stones and around the building edges. We scraped a mountain of moss off the slabs. Then we swept up and bagged up the whole lot, along with piles of leaves and some surface mud that’s drifted off the growing beds. The centre is now looking in better shape for upcoming events, including local election voting. And maybe even a barbecue or two? Could get wild.
