This week's fitness challenge was to attempt as many of the 'Sally Challenges' as you liked. There were three on offer, the Squat Sally Challenge, the Plank Sally Challenge and the Press Up Sally Challenge. I think it's safe to say that Moby quickly became one of my most hated artists during those 10 minutes and 15 seconds.
Lots of Bristol GoodGymers got involved, big well done to everyone who did! I think some of their comments and the number of 'ouches' can make a better summary than I can:
1) Done. 2) Done, but socks added to the challenge due to slipping feet. 3. Started on my knees, and had a lie down during the instrumentals - but got to the end of the song!
1) done 2) done 3) 1 min 10. Ouch
1) Quad cramps made me sob, but I managed the squats 2) Collapsed during planks, but got back up before the end of the song 3) Made it to :57 on my knees
1: Ouch. 2: More ouchy. 3: Considerably ouchy. Had to use knees on 3 and take some rests on the longer down holds.
1.Done. 2. Just about done. 3. Made it to 1.30 minutes on knees.
1.Done 2. Had to stop and have a lie down 2:30 in but did finish after that 3. Nope (lasted 43sec) I don't ever want to do this again!
If that's not a marketing campaign for the Sally Challenge then I don't know what is! I bet you are all looking forward to the re-test in a few week's time. In the meantime, sign up here for some nice running/walking 'relief'.
