It was a double shopping mission morning at Waitrose today and I'd managed to get the lists for both beneficiaries in advance over the phone, thinking that with a bit of careful planning I could manage both shops at the same time - but with Waitrose so quiet, and both lists needing a full bag or more, it made sense to do two trips...the sun was out, there were no queues, and I had nothing else planned, so what was not to like.

So back amongst the aisles this time shopping for Ms M, who'd remembered I'd shopped for her a month ago. As per my last shop for Ms M, she was introducing me to new items that I'd never encountered before - last time Kefir, this time marinated Tofu pieces. Ms M also had her list in order of where to find items in the shop, and an indication of prices too, which is extremely helpful when deliberating over quantities or types of mushrooms or blueberries.

A quick call to Ms M to tell her I was on my way so she could prepare the cheque, and a few minutes later I was outside her door with the shopping - in turn she'd left outside on the step both the envelope and a really nice card (which I subsequently found out was of a historic and famous bridge in St Petersburg) thanking me for my efforts.
