This mission was the second for Liz and I today. You could say it was a day for number twos (in a good way). Our missions were both in Hackney. This mission was to move a double bed (the second of the day) so Miss I could have her hospital bed moved in. This was Liz's second time at this address so she knew what to expect. With Miss I not being ready to her lose her lifelong possessions, this made the task doubly interesting. There were two occupational health staff also on hand to help Miss I as they knew she wouldn't be letting go easily. They managed to finally convince her to get in a wheelchair then we got down to the business of getting the double bed out the bedroom which was much easier than originally thought. It was lovely meeting Miss I and her cousin who cares for her and who had some great stories to tell but, we had to get out of the way, as the new bed had arrived and the two men delivering it wanted to get it out the rain. We said our goodbyes and I jumped on the 2..54 bus home whilst Liz got the 5..5 to work. All in all it was a day of deuces and I think we aced it.
