Myself, Rebecca & Chris arrived ready for a morning of doing good & gardening.

We were warmly greeted by a 98 year old Mr P.

He remembered myself and Chris from a previous visit to tend to his garden. We had a quick catch up Mr P, then we were tasked to work.

The main part of today’s task was a general tidy up of the garden and to tackle some overgrown weeds.

Myself and Rebecca got our Doctor Doolittle on by talking to a Caterpillar and Snail respectively.

All three of us had soon named a Garden creature Catty-the Caterpillar (Paul), Sunny-the Snail (Rebecca) Brexy-the Snail (Chris).

Before we knew it we had filled a dozen gardening sacks ready to be collected by the bin men.

We had a quick tidy up and caught up with Mr P. Before we left we had a chat about Brexit. Mr P proved his 98 years may prevent him from tending to his garden of over 40 years, but he still has a good grasp of current affairs.
