Share the love

Four GoodGymmers made their way to the Maidenhead community allotment to water the thirsty produce. Watering took no time with the cans and butts, so we decided to refill the butts for the next group that will come by.

The warm and sunny weather brought out the thirst in Diya, Nicola, Sheila and Kanika, so much so that some plans for chilled beers started brewing. Talks of microbreweries, socials and baby guinnesses ensued while we waited for the butts to fill up. Next visit to the allotment might involve a chilled bevvy or two - watch this space 😉

This task supported

The Maidenhead Community Allotment is run by a group of volunteers, who grow food to share with local residents, the users of the Boyn Grove Community and Resource Centre and Maidenhead Foodshare. They work with Men in Sheds, who are based on the same site. Men in Sheds is an initiative to combat loneliness by providing a space for men to connect and chat over practical tasks.
