Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

Share the love

It’s Tuesday night and 29 people are gardening in a beautiful oasis in the middle of Brixton whilst being beaten by hail, rain and wind.

In the middle of August.

It has the making of an excellent Stephen Spielberg movie.

Loughborough Farm doesn’t have any animals but it has some proper awesome plants, flowers, fruits and veg. Lovely Anthea met us and allocated a range of tasks all involving weeds and everyone got stuck in…. resisting the urge to pop the shiny black tomato into our mouths.

As if back breaking weeding wasn’t enough, everyone did 10 minutes of some nasty circuits to help improve speed, endurance and strength. There is nothing quite as hard-core as holding a prison squat whilst the heaven’s shower down hailstones the same size as the black tomatoes.

Nice one everyone. You are all crazy.
