This weekend GoodGym runners gathered from Richmond, Wandsworth, Hounslow and Kingston to take part in a rather wet and windy 10km race in Bushy Park.

The morning started with Jenna going for a dog walk in the rain and the desperately fighting the desire to crawl back into bed where she could stay warm and cosy - it was only the encouragement of her fellow GG runners that forced those trainers and rain jacket on!

We huddled together as we collected our race numbers and then rallied to the start line , bidding farewell to dry clothes but looking forward to roast dinners! 2 laps of the Park Run course had us slipping and sliding through mud and fighting against the rain and wind, but we were kept motivated not only by supporters Chris, Michelle and Rob (who had made an awesome banner for us!) But also our trusty GG Trainer Mark jogged between us keeping us focused and entertained! Which was soooooo helpful even if we were too out of breath to respond!

Despite the weather the race was a huge success with 4 runners achieving a PB!!!! We!ll done everyone
