Every Can Helps
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Portsmouth Foodbank in Portsmouth.
- Friday, 6th of March 2020

3 GoodGym runners took on the forth and final shift of the day at Tesco Fratton to collect donations for our local food bank. Mel came to save me having to volunteer the shift on my own - thank you Mel we really appreciate you coming to step in at the last minute. Then we got a lovely surprise in the shape of a Tracey as Tracey managed to join us too. This meant we had a awesome dream team when it came to a swift and professional pack up at the end of the day. We had so many donations and kind words, it really is a lovely task to be involved in. We were told that tinned tomatoes and tinned fruit was really in short supply at the food bank, we're sure they will be pleased with how many generous donations of these items we collect today (and plenty of other long life items too!).
