Dave took on the strimming challenge in Miss J's garden, overcoming the problems of changing the strim cord, dealing with a short extension lead and avoiding the golf balls hidden in the undergrowth.
I pruned the shrubs and pulled out weeds by hand, and between us we created a big pile of green waste, and left Miss J's garden looking a lot tidier.

Team GG rocked up to Baffins Pond for the annual easter egg hunt. A firm fave task for us and we were soon out with our coloured tokens hiding them away for the kids to look for.
I even managed to find one from last year that was so well hidden it hadn't been collected for all this time!
Once the hunt was in full swing we had a visit from the guest of honour themself, the easter bunny!!
And for an eggs-tra treat we were able to see Mama Swan sat atop her nest with her own 4 eggs kept safe and warm.

Our session started a little differently this evening, with our runners taking part in a short experiment to see of exercise improves creativity - I'll make sure to post an update once the findings are in!
We then set to work tackling the front and back gardens at Paulsgrove Hub. Dave and Andy started outbthe front, replacing dead ferns with azaelias, then pulling up some dead mystery plant to replace them with some hardy perennials!
Sinéad and Katie did an epic job digging up some sad looking daffodils and relocating them to a new home in the borders. The planters were then given a new lease of life with some new plants, including donations from Judy!
