Report written by Ellen
At the end of August, Emma W, Lowri D and I braved the elements to run the Severn Bridge 10k. In contrast to the previous year - when it was very cold, windy and rainy - the elements this year consisted of sunshine and heat. We downgraded from the half marathon due to the weather, which was a good call - temperatures on the bridge itself were reported to be 30c plus! So no PBs were to be had on the day, but it was still a great atmosphere - with the race village buzzing both before and after the events. It's one of my favourite races, well organised and attended. And the views from the bridge are amazing. Fingers crossed the conditions next year will be better for a half, but either way - a highly recommended race for everyone!
