Five Goodgymers leaping
5 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Bath.

We convened in Vicky Park for Alice to put us through our paces with a sharp, sharp HIIT session themed (possibly) around a certain festive pyramid song.
She had us do:
1 burpee, and rest
1 burpee, 2 pressups, 1 burpee, rest
1 burpee, 2 pressups, 3 box jumps, 2 pressups, 1 burpee, rest
...with the pyramid ascending up to 10 of something (as I write, the thing in question isn't popping in to my head. By then very little oxygen was getting as far as my brain, and things are a bit of a blur (as you can see in the attached photo of Mark!)
Being a bit of a geek of course, I was trying to distract myself from the pain of things, to work out how many of each thing we ultimately did. But that wasn't going to happen in real-time.
In retrospect though, I give you:
- 19 x 1 = 19 burpees
- 17 x 2 = 34 pressups
- 15 x 3 = 45 box jumps
- 13 x 4 = 52 Russian twists
- 11 x 5 =55 calf raises
- 9 x 6 =54 squat jumps
- 7 x 7 = 49 seconds of planks
- 5 x 8 = 40 er, leg pointy things (I managed to miscount these and was counting in groups of 4, so probably ended up doing more like 100 of these!)
- 3 x 9 = 27 arm raises
- 1 x 10 = 10 um, things
