25 runners headed north from the Folk House to help Golden Hill Community Garden pass out flyers for their forthcoming May festival.

This was a hilly run. There was no avoiding them, no going around or under. We only had one way, which was up, up, up a little more, then over, then down, along, up another hill, then round a bend, and oh look - another hil! I guess there's a reason that it's called Golden Hill! We all made it though, and were glad of a little rest whilst the leaflets were handed out.

With so many hands on board, we were able to split in to several smaller groups which then fanned out on a multi-pronged attack of the local houses. In super-fast time, the local community was made aware of this lovely garden and it's fun activities, including opening a new straw bale house. We're going to head back shortly to help them on the big day to set things up (there may be cake or pizza, they have their own pizza oven!).

To make life a little easier, we headed back down hill and found a slightly longer but less hilly route on the way back. Why didn't we take this route the first time, I may hear you ask... well that wouldn't be any fun, would it!

Well done to all the runners for tackling such a nasty route, I can't wait to do it again soon!
