Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
12 Eager GoodGymers headed south for the evening to St Andrews Youth Club to give the gym a sprucing up the only way GoodGym know how.
Everyone arrived at Westminster to find Cory was back! The excitement didn't last long though as we announced that our fearless leader was still in recovery, it was time for us to earn our wings. We were pushed out of the nest with smiles on our faces knowing that sinking wasn't an option, we were All going to SWIM
With maps in our hands and Sat Navs at the ready we took to the streets and made our way to Victoria. We found the beautiful Green Park with nooooooo problems and, after a brief wave to the Queen as we passed the palace, continued on our way. Any nerves that we may have had left us and we enjoyed an independent run in the sunshine with no sprints or squats in sight!
We arrived in good time at the St Andrew's youth club to help Adrian clean the gym. Sweating more than any of the gym-goers we got to work and had the place sparkling in 15 minutes FLAT. Paul gave us a quick talk about the youth club and the work they do, but we had to forego the tour so we could get back in time for dinner.
With new-found confidence and a spring in our step we set off home and after a quick stretch said our goodbyes.
With such a great group, do we even need a leader? ;-) Did i say that out loud?
