On a sunny Sunday morning two dedicated runners left to help out Mr A, you couldn't ask for a nicer day to do some gardening.

At the usual meeting place Mikey and Emma met up, after a few attempts on a strangely numbered road the location was finally found. Mr A greeted us at the door and invited us in, at first he was a little unsure if we'd be able to cut the grass as it was so long. Not to be put off we went out into the back garden to take a look, we found the shed and equipment, and then began trying things out. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a long enough extension lead so the strimmer was out. Emma, already armed with shears had started to cut back brambles and over hanging hedges.

After a couple of failed attempts, the mower finally got going and Mikey took to the lawn, Emma quickly took to the longer patches and cut those back too.

Dandelions, grass and mushrooms were no competition for the mower and after multiple bag empties the lawn was done. We tidied up a few more patches and then put everything back in the shed. A quick final chat with Mr. A and we were ready to say our farewells.

Back just in time to catch the end of the London Marathon.
