This was my first solo jaunt down to the foodbank to help out with the weekly Friday distribution shift, having been involved with the Monday sorting shift for some time now.

Upon arrival it was great to catch up with Luca again after not seeing him for a while, Leon was once again learning the ropes again too. We were shown the procedure, following the regular volunteers around, packing up the donations for families of different sizes.

It was great to see how all the hard work from the Monday shift pays off for the Friday volunteers, allowing them to crack on. Once packages were packed there was sorting to be done before the good byes were said and we all dispersed to enjoy the long weekend.

Once again another great GG task to be involved with and great to come full circle seeing the other side to the sorting shift.
