Giving the garden a haircut!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Greenwich.
- Saturday, 8th of December 2018
It was a healthy afternoon for both Pieter and I today! We met at Mrs S’s house having braved the weather; I had ran there in my Goodgym attire whilst Pieter had battled the winds on his bike.
Mrs S asked us to tidy up her garden at the front of her house, mainly ensuring her hedges were cut down and even on top. Basically, they needed a good old trim! She explained she had tried her best, but was limited in how long she could garden for and how high she could reach!
Armed with some pretty impressive garden tools, we set to work. Teamwork was in action as Pieter chopped through the bigger branches and I kept on top of the smaller ones. It wasn’t long before we had filled two large bins with garden waste.
Mrs S was very happy to see the results, and is eager that we return to work on her garden behind the house!
