A Thursday evening mission for us this week but sadly 3 of the sign ups couldn't make it. We lost Brahma and Kevin to man flu.......thankfully they are both made of strong stuff so I'm sure we shall see them soon and Hilary got hit by the NHS 'ping'
Justin joined us for his 4th community mission this week....great work Justin see you in a few weeks.
Weeding and plant thinning were the orders for this evening.
Paul and I wrangled the bindweed while Justin and Helen weeded the raised beds.
I continued wresting the bindweed and Paul started to add wood chippings to the base of the fruit trees and the path, which hopefully will help slow down the weeds returning.
Miriam helped with the thinning of the seedlings helping ensure a good crop, they may be some goodies to harvest next time we visit.
Abbey Gardens hold weekly evening community sessions and the last Saturday of the month.
We shall be joining them on Saturday 31st July signup
