Five GoodGym members came together to help Stephens House and Gardens. The venue is a park held in trust for the people of Finchley and is run as a charity with no Council support. It has beautiful gardens, café, playground and exercise equipment. ( check it out!) The five of us met Helen, one of the part time gardeners, at the house, four of us having run from the Phoenix and Niki, who had gone directly. Helen explained that we were going to recondition exercise mats around the outdoor gym equipment. This was a first for us and a great fit for what we do. These mats were covered in mud and grass and made for an uneven landing platform. We set about pulling the mats up, cleaning them and relaying them. We managed to complete one of the apparatus and had some time to play on the monkey bars. check out the photos of John, and Ruslan

We returned back to the Phoenix for a warm down, and three of us went for tea on the balcony! Rachel, Paul & Ruslan see photo.

What a lovely summers evening! it doesn’t get much better than this!

Thanks for coming running and doing some good!
