I had a wonderful time running at Hackney Marshes parkrun early on Saturday morning, a free weekly timed 5km event for runners of all abilities. After my loop, I volunteered to assist with barcode scanning for our other participants, to allow our runners to have a record of their times, finishing positions and dates of attendance.

It was great to see loads of fellow Goodgymmers on the day, including Graham and Anika, who were selling their 100th and 50th parkruns on the same day! Congratulations!
