Report written by Diane
A busy day for the Borough Food Cooperative team, preparing for tomorrow's sales. As a group of five, we sorted through all the donated food, including a huge array of fresh veg, ham, yoghurt, ham, tofu, cheese, ham, pasta, Coke, ham, eggs -- oh, and a lot more ham. There is a lot on offer for tomorrow's customers! We also swapped over two freezers -- put some spare food* in a third. (*Yup, more ham!)

The Borough Food Cooperative opened in October 2020. With help from organisations like FareShare, the Borough Food Cooperative acts as a subsidized supermarket, offering members to stop in and pick up £15-£20 worth of groceries for £4.50. The Cooperative is open during lockdown to provide essential supplies to local households
