Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Hilary (she/her)
Lovely to meet Mrs S and lend a hand in her back garden - the grass and weeds were in much need of some taming and her neighbours had very kindly arranged to borrow a lawn mower from a relative that was suitable for the job. Said mower made relatively easy work of the grass, uncovering a perplexing number of shoes, slippers and sandals.
Mystery solved by the neighbours lending the mower - foxes would pick up any shoes they could find left outside (as apparently the other neighbours were in the habit of doing) then come and bury them in the grass!
Many bags of grass cuttings (and footwear) later... a very satisfying way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon.
