As Storm Darragh raged, one GoodGymer braved the driving rain and winds and went to help Petersham Horticulture Society pack up and move from their home of 118 years. Sadly their home is being sold to developers and all their tables, chairs and supplies they use each summer for their fair had to move out of the basement of the local hall into a van with much being sadly sent to the tip with nowhere for it to be saved for future fares. What could be stored in local neighbours was loaded up and moved to various garages and sheds while the charity tries to figure out what to do. A sad day in driving rain and wind.

We are a not for profit organisation which aims to infuse our community with a love of garden, baking and craft. We run events throughout the year for young and old. Every summer we hold a summer show which allows a bit of friendly competition and results in a hall filled with produce and many happy smiles.
