After the morning gardening mission and budget Sainsbury's lunch, I abandoned my mission partner in tears by the canal-side. We realised our kung fu styles weren't aligned, with one using precise and deadly techniques and the other explosive and brutal methods. We decide to go our separate ways, one to the West and one to the East. I set off to South Ealing, alone to help Ms N with her shopping.

Ms N gave me what I understand to be a fairly standard shopping list for me to seek out on the mean streets of South Ealing. After a visit to the Sainsbury's Local and Co-op, I was still short of some ginger, tomatoes, mung dal and gulabjamun. I was told that I could find the latter 2 in one of the local convenience stores, so I ventured in for the first time unsure of where to look. After a little friendly guidance from the store colleague, my shopping list was complete and I returned to Ms N to deliver her groceries.

While staring at gluten-free oats in Sainsbury's I realised that my partner was right all along. While it was hard to admit, I wanted to be honest with them. I sent them a long confession and we decided to meet over a tearful coffee and then we made a pact to always garden for good and never split up again.

Hilarious! Love how one of you went East, one West and you ended up South! And who doesn't love a happily ever after ending?

Well, the canal runs east to west at that point, but we did both (independently) head southwards after that.

...and yes, we wouldn't leave it on a dramatic soap opera style cliff hanger... or would we?
