Fouteen goodgymers gathered at Highgate woods to find and destroy the many dens scattered around the woods. The first rule of the woods is leave it as you found it. Dens can be dangerous (if they are unstable), they are also a fire hazard and they do not provide a habit as well as when lying on the ground. As long as the wood remains damp on the ground it provides a home for life. Standing it up dries it out and most living things will die. ( so now you know!) We had a brief chat and congratulated the six good deeds of Kat this month and the four of Fay and Jen. Give them a cheer. Lots of missions coming up in the next few days so keep an eye out. We split into two teams lead out by Dan and Abi ( give them a shout out!). We had a little friendly competition to find the most dens. In the end Abi's team got 6 to Dans 5 so we managed to find and destroy 11 structures. Some of them very impressive see photos. We started and ended the session in the sun ( glorious!) and finished with some yogic breathing.( need a bit more umph with that one!)

Thanks for coming and doing some good in the beautiful Highgate woods!

Ps alternative pun titles welcome in comments.
