So this evening we were going to go all Christmasy. We all met up as usual at Base Camp Crooklog and after our short greetings we got straight into our warm up. Tonight we were again getting into two groups, walkers and runners. We were going out to spread the Goodgym love by delivering leaflets telling everyone about what we do and what we get up to. Hopefully this will get us new leads, new members and more volunteers to our awesome group.

This evening the runners had two miles to cover on there delivery round whilst the walkers had one mile to cover. It worked out really well and there wasn't to much time between us but i'm pleased to say the walkers snatch victory by getting to the awesome Christmas light display first.

WALKERS SNATCHED VICTORY................

Well what an awesome meet point. The Christmas light display was really something. The time and effort to put up this display must have been a nightmare but we were all glad that the owners had because if was truly brilliant. After a few photos it was sadly time to head back to Base Camp for the finish. The runners again made there way back a slightly longer route and us walkers powered are way back the way we came. Unfortunately we were not triumphant this time as the runners did beat us back.

Big shout out to Susan & Sarah for front and back marking the group run this week, always appreciated. And of course a big thank you to everyone who gave up their time this evening to do good and to also improve on their health and fitness. You are all legend!!!
