Report written by Huw Davies
Six GoodGymmers visited the St Matthew's Estate to help St Matthew's Big Local.
Initial brief tonight was to help clear fallen leaves from the multi-use games area (MUGA) on the estate. Armed with rakes, brushes and bin bags we headed down from St Matthew's House to find the MUGA relatively leaf free and also amazingly busy which is wonderful to see. Never fear, GG will find good to do. We cleared the path from Taylor Road into the MUGA area which was borderline ankle high with leaves. Then we deleafed the adjoining playground before heading for Kamloops Park to shift a few more leaves and throw in a bonus litter pick after we retrieved some pickers from the car.
Multi area multi clearing!
Well done gang.
