I(lex) can see clearly now the leaves have gone
5 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Worthing.
- Thursday, 23rd of July 2020
- Led by Emily McCunn
The second stint of this evening's task at St Mary's Church in Goring, that saw John, Belinda, Lucy and Duncan put in a double shift. They were joined by Emily for the second hour.
The GoodGymers were supporting a merry band of friends of the church, and we were all equipped with varying impressive tools. Hedges were cut, compost heaps built, ivy raked, rubbish collected, leaves removed and paths revealed. Belinda even discovered a new star.
There's still some way to go to get the gardens looking their best (and return visits are on the cards; Sisyphus may have nothing on us😆) but they certainly look a lot happier after this fantastic joint effort.
