Today’s mission for Mr K involved a few little jobs. First thing on the list was dropping off a package at the post office just across the road from Mr K’s flat - there was no queue today, so I was in and out in a jiffy!

Then I headed to the pharmacy to pick up his prescription, and one for his carer. Mr K’s household like to prepare a letter to the pharmacist to explain exactly what they are expecting to receive (and after a few occasions in the past where they haven’t received all of their items, I can’t say I blame them!) I handed over the letter to the pharmacist, and sadly a few items were not ready for collection. The pharmacist very kindly wrote a letter back to Mr K to explain what was happening with these items, which I delivered along with the medication that was ready.

I noticed when I went up to Mr K’s flat to collect the parcel that there were some bags of rubbish outside the door. Upon my return they were still there - so I gave Mr K’s carer a quick ring to check whether they were rubbish, and to offer to take care of them on my way out. They were indeed destined for the bin, so I popped them in the rubbish chute as I was leaving the flat complex. Mission complete!
