Spent 30 minutes in my neighbourhood high street, collecting rubbish after an afternoon 5k run. Quite frankly, it was disgusting! Wet paper food wrappers, plastic bags and endless cans and half filled bottles of drinks of all descriptions (which I don't get - why do so many people throw away so many half drunk bottles of drinks?!). Plus my running gloves got soaked. But it was all worth it to collect 1 modest sized bag of rubbish in just a half an hour. Result!
