11 sweaty beasts ran/meandered 4.5km to InterAct

Always nice to hold a record, and this week we broke the record for hottest GoodGym! After a healthy hydration and me telling everyone about my mission with Gerry, we set off. About 30 metres later we stopped, not because of the heat, but because we saw Catherine! We headed down to InterAct at a pace acceptable to the weather and arrived dripping with a mixture of perspiration and anticipation of a juicy task.

InterAct are having their garden party this Friday between 3-6pm and we are welcome to attend, there will be BBQ and cream cakes. But before that, we needed to move the bricks and pavings out of sight and weed the front. This will make it a more inviting area for all attendees. After much needed water, thanks Susie, we got stuck in. Great work guys, it looks ready! While we snaffled biscuits and took on the necessary hydration, I offered two routes back.; the same way we came, or via Tesco and I would buy everyone ice lollies. With 100% of the vote (only Rachel voted while glaring at everyone to ensure we had lollies) we set off to Tesco!

I led the GoodGymers around Tesco like the pied piper straight to the freezer. There we spied some Calippo! Making us all feel young again (or in Adam's case just acting his age) we tucked in as we walked back. If Gerry is reading this, I mean we ran back in an intense fitness session. After we arrived back to base (we did run most of the way, promise), we stretched and planned for Catherine's GoodGym BBQ! Can't wait but I'm not sure I am fully hot tub body ready...A couple more GoodGym sessions should sort me out though!

Thanks for coming and I hope you enjoyed the ice lollies!
