Another sunny Saturday morning, another chance for goodgymers to get their slash on and help the Northern Slopes Initiative with some good old ground work.

With all this great weather we're finding lots of new plants growing, but the brambles we cut down before wanted to rejoin the party. Not a chance! We gave those pesky weeds a whack so that some prettier things could grow through instead. Shout out to the brave Katkin, Sara, and James as they picked up scythes for the first time (at the slopes at least). It ain't easy swinging these things about in the sizzling sun, but they put tremendous effort into it!

Good work all round and here's hoping that when we come back in a months time, the brambles have learnt their lesson (and to stay out of our meadow!)

Thanks everyone, see you again soon. :)
