Today’s mission turned out to be a speedy and simple but very useful one. I met with Peter to lend Mr R a hand with some new light fittings in his living room as it would have been tricky for him to climb a step ladder and fit them himself.

He had some energy efficient LED blubs all ready for us to fit, with Pete able to utilise his great skill of height to fit the first lot without any aerial assistance. The second set where slightly higher and I turned down the offer of being lifted up in favour of reaching for the step ladder... One of Mr R’s old hallway fittings had also stopped working, so we were able to replace that one with an LED too, and were happy to leave him with his home is looking much brighter.
