This morning 5 of our lovely Goodgym-ers (and Boris the dog) braved the awful weather to volunteer at Stretford Parkrun. Today's Parkrun was run in memory of Helen who sadly passed away last weekend. She was instrumental in bringing 5K your Way to Stretford for fellow cancer patients to meet up, run and walk. She will be sadly missed.
In Helen's honour we wore bright colours and made 10 seconds of noise before the participants headed off round the course.
On their way round they encountered some of of GoodGym crew marshalling them round:
Fiona and
And on their way in they were shepherded into one of the two funnel lanes by the rainbow duo of
Anne and
Special shout out to Anne who was touristing from our closest GoodGym family neighbour - Stockport.
Well done to all those who took part in the race and to our GoodGym volunteers!
Happy running and see you all next time x
