In Praise of the Trolley
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Tuesday, 1st of December 2020
Nick and I welcomed in December with a trip to Oxford Street. Festive lights were not quite the main attraction however, rather an unwanted oven in Mr D's flat. He'd had a new cooker installed, but the old one was taking up space in his hallway and causing a fire hazard. Its removal was made much easier by the use of a trolley from Ikea, so it was pretty straightforward to wheel the oven into the lift and then outside for collection the next morning. A task that only took a few minutes (and to be honest, Nick did most of the work...) but will make Mr D's life safer and easier.

Great report Hilary - to be fair it was an excellent team effort and well done for the esoteric title and getting it into print almost as quickly as we dispatched the cooker to its final resting place outside.
