In this weather? You've got to be lopping mad!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Saturday, 2nd of November 2019
Mrs W pleasantly received a very soggy Sarah and I this Saturday afternoon.
We stepped inside to dry off and say hello before going facing the outdoors once more. Mrs W wanted some shrubbery that had grown tree sized taken back. After relaying a few branches back for her inspection, we identified the offending shrub and rose to the challenge like the tide.
Shrugging off the torrential rain, Sarah and I split the tasks of sawing the thick bits, lopping up the long bits and sweeping up the messy bits. Efficient as you would expect, we had the shrub and garden clear in no time at all and went back inside so we could show off our hard work to Mrs W.
She was very very pleased with what we had done outdoors, and there was even the opportunity to change a few indoor digital clocks for her on the way out too.
Thanks Mrs W, we hope you enjoy your new garden (when/if the rain stops!)
