Not just two laughs, but many more this evening as Ben Godfrey, Zena Whalley, Alison Cottam and myself enjoyed some heavy duty pruning whilst much of the rest of the country watched England beat Germany.

To be fair we were kept up to date with the football latest score by Dr. Michael from Christ Church whilst we continued in our ongoing campaign to keep the church yard tidy.

Everyone's a winner, Christ Church for having a neater garden, all us GoodGymmers for performing another good deed and even England for finally besting Germany....Result!

Church of England Church

We are a small Anglican Church, off the main roads of Huddersfield. We've just welcomed a new vicar in September but had a two year vacancy before that and it was hard for the congregation to keep up with tasks around the building. We'd really like some help tidying up the garden around the church - trimming shrubs and removing some, planting bulbs at the front of the church so it looks better next year, that sort of thing.
