In what could possibly be GoodGym Huddersfield's final good deed we made the path to enlightenment, or perhaps more accurately the path to Cliffe Ash in Golcar. Building on the efforts from our previous visit, we barrowed stone chips up the cobble hill to spread and then compact down to restore the path through the community woods for local people to use.
Thanks to today's GoodGymmers, Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, Louise Galvin, Zoe Lockwood and Jason for their efforts. Thanks also to Matt and Christine from Golcar Environment group for the task.....and as importantly the very fine carrot cake.

Thanks to today's GoodGymmers, Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, David Bilton and most of all thanks to Wendy Redmile for kindly donating the trees we spent a fun couple of hours planting at the Hollybank Trust.

What a good job to do on a sunny Saturday morning! Six super-keen GoodGymmers planted tens of tiny trees at Mann Dam nature reserve. Thanks to Ben Godfrey, Zoe Lockwood, Kayley and Jason for their hard labour. Special thanks also to Wendy Redmile for sourcing and delivering the trees.

Thanks to Kati Law and Ben Godfrey for their efforts at Wellhouse today. We pruned shrubs and cleared vegetation from Wellhouse village green, prior to spreading freshly shorn (and slightly smelly) sheep fleeces over the cleared area as a natural, eco-friendly mulch.

As well as doing lots of digging and weeding at St. James Church, Ben Godfrey and Graham Browning took the opportunity for a bit of a sit down on the run there tonight. The big deck chair at the Huddersfield Town ground proved too much of a temptation to resist!
Thanks also to Kati Law who also did plenty of weeding and less sitting around!
