Today was the 219th Worthing parkrun & GoodGymers were out in force either running or volunteering! Paul, honorary GoodGymer John (Paul), Gill, Steve & Natacha were all running this week. Volunteering plaudits to John (Mr R) for pre-event set up, Sue marshalling at the Pier & Belinda as Run Director.

378 people braved the strong southerly icy cold wind to run, jog or walk, but as always it was the hi viz heroes who bore the brunt of the weather. Thawing out with breakfast in Coast Cafe afterwards was very welcome & the results were all processed using Belinda’s phone in no time!

Special mention to Anne for mislaying her barcode (& forgetting she could have used her phone to be scanned!). Having missed the parkrun, Anne still came out in the wind for a run & to Coast for coffee!
