We ran to Woodhouse Community Centre (Oblong) this week, which is just around the corner from HPBC. We took an indirect route along Woodhouse Ridge, which happened to be oblong in shape.

Tonights task was going to be hard work, so we were all glad the run was short. We had initially been asked to paint but there was a change of plan... we'd been asked to dismantle the seating area (which will be replaced!) The task was in two parts: first, removing all of the compost from the planters ; second, remove the wooden planters.

We all got stuck in to the task of removing compost using spades and wheelbarrows and lots of muscle. It was full workout and was a lot more fun then the gym. However, it didn't take long for us to disturb all the little critters living in the soil. Millipedes, centipedes, worms and more! Indi, on her first GG task, has now assumed the role of wildlife warden. She made sure that all of the worms we found were safely moved to a new home. Good job!

Well done everyone!
