Mr A and I had a good chat after I dropped off his shopping this morning about all that's happening and the difficulties it's causing (and this was before the announcements later in the day about London going into tier 4).

I've always enjoyed listening to Mr A - there is a quiet sensibleness about everything he says and the way he delivers it in his very understated way, and today was no different - his main message being "we must all carry on and keep going as best we can as eventually this will end".

As I left his flat, I found myself at the end of an empty street with an arrow pointing forwards...it seemed a somewhat appropriate visual metaphor for the conversation we'd just had.
