Four GoodGymmers spent a sunny Bank Holiday Monday at Mr A's house in North London, giving his back garden some TLC.

When we arrived the garden was very overgrown, including a lot of ivy and bindweed on the back wall. We got to work tugging and weeding to clear the space, filling up lots of bags with garden waste.

Mr A had a lovely range of plants he wanted us to plant in the freshly cleared space, so once we'd finished pruning and weeding we carried some compost into the back garden and got digging and watering.

Mr A was very pleased with the transformation in the garden and rewarded us with some ice cream to help us keep cool in the sun.
