On a crisp sunny Sunday morning seven members of the Goodgym Barnet team ran from far and wide to do our first weekend community mission for Stephens house and Gardens. As we arrived, we got our gloves on and were delegated to tasks around the park. the sandpit needed filling and the pathways needed tidying. We set to work chopping down the overgrown laurel that was dangerously hanging over the pathways. After a lot of hacking we had made a great difference and then we moved onto raking up the leaves that were left over from 2018. Out with the old, we filled over 10 buckets with leaves and made the park look neat again. Finishing up, we were rewarded with a homemade flapjack. All in a mornings work!
