It was George's turn to boss the run, and what a grand job he did. And it was his birthday. And it was the last Lambeth run of the year. It was a big night and all of my favourite's turned out... as well as two excellent additions to the team in the shape of Brad and Ben.

So we ran about a mile to Myatt's field. On the way I learned all about the gossip from the Christmas party... oooooooh!!!

Anyway, back to the task. It was weirdly satisfying. Shoveling leaves that smelt of ass in the rain. Who knew it could be so much fun? But it was. And Guy was on magnificent form.

So then we ran back. And we gave George some birthday cake. And we all had cake.

And that closes our 2015 year helping in Lambeth. And with it a MASSIVE THANK YOU from me.

Thank you all so much for making this such a joy to do. For all your help, for your constant chipper spirit despite shite weather or dodgy tasks or my complete disorganisation. For always laughing at my jokes. For welcoming new people. For snogging new people. For leading tasks. For back marking. For helping me with the dodgy gate at Papa's. For bringing torches. For bringing gardening gloves. For bringing cake. For giving everything in circuits. For not killing yourselves or ending up in hospital. For visiting your elderly coaches week in, week out. For being filmed. For being interviewed for TV and radio. For telling your friends to come. For bringing your family. For going on missions in your weekend. For racing trains. For representing at Park Run. For breaking marathon PBs. For being the biggest GoodGym borough. For drinking hard on school nights.
