For most task attendees, Grangetown Community Centre was a quick hop, skip and jump across in the morning - special shout out to Lucy for running straight from Grangemoor's Parkrun and Emma for coming straight from a Community Mission!

Steve, Julie and the rest of the team (who volunteer to garden every Saturday) were there to welcome us with tea, coffee and a flat-pack greenhouse kit. We started off well with starting in teams to assemble the front and back - with Mat temporarily acting as the greenhouse for some (much needed) structural stability.

Admittedly, it took a little bit longer than expected (we like to blame the instruction manual), but the good people of Grangetown Community Centre nearly have a Greenhouse they can use :) - after a quick drill of a few bolts it'll be right as rain, or hopefully keeping out the rain...

Of course, celebratory lunch trip was completed at the Grange Pub!
