15 amazing GoodGym runners have been clocking up the miles on their solo runs this week! Great work team!

I can't tell you guys how much I'm missing our weekly group runs! I also can't tell you how happy it makes me when my phone beeps and there is a new picture or message from one of you sharing your runs. You guys are totally smashing the solo running!

This week we had some challenges set for our runs. We could tick off as many of the following challenges as we wanted:

  • Find a hill and do 3 hill reps. Well, there are some pretty impressive hills around Exeter so no problems there! Check out the pictures for some of them!

  • Find some lamp posts and do some speed work. Well done Tom who got some great speed work done this week, maybe not so much by running between lampposts but rather by chasing his kids zooming off on scooters!

  • Run to one of our old task locations and take a picture. Lovely to see a picture of Lisa at one of our old leafleting roads.

  • Be mindful and take in the beautiful signs of spring all around you. Jo sent in some beautiful spring pictures of grazing sheep and eater chickens! Lots and lots of other beautiful pictures form other runners as well. Sarah for example sent one in of the sun setting behind the hills and said that she ran so far she had to catch the last light of the day! Amazing work!

Kudos to Helen who did an awesome 5 k run without stopping and to Samuel and who was so determined to get their runs in he went out for some night-time running across the moors where he lives!

A very SPECIAL mentioning of Lucy R who went out for a litter collection mission as part of her run. Love that you still get fit by doing well!

To all of you- You are totally amazing! Not only for running but also for giving each other so much support, cheering each other up all the time. What a team! Also, this won't last for ever! We will be out there together again! Until then, keep the pictures coming, keep running, keep your distance and keep smiling!

Next up we're gonna Rock the Roxanne Burpees! Sign up here to join!
