On a lovely sunny evening we met with Friends of Riverside park for the first time to help with some planting. The ground was quite hard so it took a bit of effort to dig the bed over to make room for the new plants. Many hands made light work as we had all the plants in their new homes quickly. This left us time to do a litter pick of the car park and around the edge of the cricket field too. It was great to leave the park looking much tidier for all the people out enjoying the space. Once we were done we had time to chat about some future projects we could help. We look forward to joining Friends of Riverside park again soon.
