Share the love

This week's challenge was to run to a task location, take a selfie and share it with the group....the group the had to guess where it was.

All day yesterday the chat was full of lovely photos of people smiling, sharing their daily exercise with everyone else.

The day started with Sue trying her bet to find the Secret Garden, and the location lived up to it's name as Sue couldn't find it again! So, she sent us a photo of her best confused look. Priceless! She received the first point of the day for being the first runner out.

Then I had a phone entry from Lea and Keith who on their run in the morning managed a 6km loop that took them past two past task loactions. Lea hiding behind one of St Peter's Church's imposing stone walls, who's grounds' we've litter picked and polished the inside of. Keith took his along the road where we usually go and hang out with the Abbeyfield Wessex residents, playing games and running their quiz night.

Then we had Marianne share hers, as she ran back from work and that was a tricky one. But eventually it was guessed. St Michael's School where we had done lots of gardening and assisted them in winning the Gold award in the Bournemouth in Bloom contest!

Daryl managed to fit in two locations, one being a mission we did a Fernheath Play and the other being Slades Farm where we had previously battled with waves of Bracken and and only left a small imprint. Only Sarah, at the end of play, managed to guess Slades Farm so that tied Daryl and Marianne for the most challenging clues!

Sean zoomed past the Sea Cadets and shared his shot which was quickly guessed by Daryl. We'd only been there once...well, technically twice, but the first time didn't happen. Cleaning was our task there.

Then we had Neil share his photo with us, unfortunately he is isolating in Southsea, so running to a task location would have been a bit more than an Ultra Marathon...but he ran and shared and that's what matters!

Amber also joined in and treated us to a number of shots of her near the Sovereign Center, where in the past we'd been on the roof sorting units for one charity, and inside of helping out It's All about culture set up their new offices.

I ventured out and got a shot me a at the The Green House, where Grounded Enterprises had just acquired the garden there and we were helping fill the raised vegetable patches.

Hannah had us a little confused with her nature shots to tart with but then clued us in with a shot of a parking area. And that turned out to be the vital clue. Meyrick Park it was, where we had done a number of litter picks....one litter pick was pretty epic...not because we found shopping trolleys, tents etc but because Amber's (who also guessed the location) group rounded up around 12 empty bottles of vodka on their route! Hannah also came across lots of rainbows, and well they have to be shared don't they!

Fredrika, like Neil, isn't able to run to a location, hers would turn into a Triathlon as she's on the Isle of Wight still. She shared another beautiful shot of her run....starting to think when this is all over a trip to the IOW may be on the cards!

With the day going past in a flash Chris and Claire headed out for their run and shared a snap of their location...a shot of them under Bournemouth Pier, where we'd done litter picks in the past!

Charlotte also joined in and hers was tricky too as it was a shot of a road, and not a significant road but one that we had flyer dropped along before! Sarah coming to the rescue and guessing that one!

Sarah wasn't just guessing tricky ones, she also headed out and took a shot of herself....adding some charades to hers to help us guess it. She ventured out to Bishop Aldhelm's school, where we'd been to do some gardening, cleaning and painting!

The last one of the day was sent in from Caprice, who also snuck in two locations and they were sneaky ones too! One being the Salvation Army where we'd been to clean, and also where I went to on my first ever GoodGym run, oh the memories, and the second one being Joy Cafe where we had helped with the set up of the community cafe.

So much fun and so many nice memories all flooding back throughout the whole day!

Thank you all for taking part and for making yesterday such a great day.

Next week's running challenge is going to be super creative and so much fun. Hannah has come up with a great idea and I can't wait!!!

Fill you guy sin soon!

Stay safe everyone!!
