Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Twelve intrepid GoodGymers set off from Angel at 11am on a sunny Sunday, making the most of a gorgeous day by running along canals, over bridges, and through Victoria park for a 11 mile run.
With the weather proving to be a big asset (despite the rain the night before), we headed off at a steady pace and made light work of the distance once we got out of the initial busy canal sections.
Once again picking up Andy Lulham from his houseboat on the way, we built up a good rhythm and discussed everything from marathons, soul gigs, and what form of transport GoodGym could race next after race the horse and race the train.
Some particular highlights included;
Tom Benson on his onion bhaji-scotch egg mashup, and discussions of what the best kind of vegetarian scotch egg is
Debating why canal bridges are so small - PB reckons it's to do with people being shorter in the Victorian ages. The rest of us remain sceptical.
All of this finished, of course, with a pub lunch and a well-deserved drink in the Coburn afterwards!
Another Sunday, another successful canal run.
